Squeezing the good stuff
ID = Inside Dim · OD = Outside Dim · VA = Visible Area · Reveal = Width of mat or exposed float mount backer
VA is the amount of art you want to show. For a matted piece it's the area seen inside the mat. For float mount or flush mount it's the same as the art size.
* The frame will cover approx 1/4" (6mm) of the OD on all sides — account for this in your reveal.
